The Football Tournament will be $45.00 per player participant (if staying at a Tournament preferred hotel), $55.00 per player participant (if NOT staying at a tournament preferred hotel), plus a $250.00 team registration fee is required to register.
Tournament participants will each receive:
- Commemorative Shirt
- Commemorative Patch
- Commemorative Medallion
- An unforgettable experience!
The football tournament ages are 6 - 16 years old. The age of the competitors will be determined at their current age on November 21st, 2007.
Team registration fees are due by October 16th, 2007. All player and coach fees are due by November 1st, 2007.
Competing football teams will be matched by average age and weight of the team. Teams must be league “rostered” teams only. No “All Star” teams. Two (2) player substitutions will be allowed. Certified documentation must be provided FROM YOUR LEAGUE, showing substitute players participated in the SAME division as your team.
The tournament will be limited to 128 teams, registered on a first come, first serve basis. We expect many League Champion caliber football teams to fill the tournament quickly, so early registration is suggested.
Team check-in and player weigh-ins will begin on Tuesday, November 20th, 2007 (for NYFL teams) and Wednesday, November 21st, 2007. If you need an early check in contact the Pigkin Tournament.
The games will be held beginning Thursday, November 22nd, 2007 through Saturday, November 24th, 2007. An awards presentation will be held following the completion of the tournament..
Each competing football team will play 2 games.
All football games will be played under current NFHS rules.
